Hello... My name is Jenny and I am a textile designer-maker living and working in the beautiful county of Somerset, in a small town called Bruton.

I graduated from Winchester school of art in 2006 and now produce my own range of handmade textiles and accessories using a combination of machine embroidery and applique. I also do  some freelance work too, amongst other things, designing projects for Crafts Beautiful magazine.

My range started off quite small with a selection of printed greetings cards and canvases, but has grown to include quite a few handmade embroidered products too, including pretty lavender bags and cushions. Since the arrival of my best friend - my badge maker – a year ago, I also now sell a wide range of fabric badges, magnets and handbag mirrors, which have fast become my best selling products.

Everything is handmade by me here in my lovely home studio – I am a self-proclaimed ‘fusspot’ and put every effort into creating each piece with as much love and care as I can – If I wouldn’t be happy to receive it myself, I would never send it out to a customer.

I know I'm very lucky to have such a creative job even though there is more admin and paper work involved than I first imagined. Even from a very young age, I always hated the thought of working for a big, faceless city corporation, and feel very fortunate every morning as I make the short walk to the village post office to post my orders.
